The Maritime Executive Article: Three Killed in Collision of Two Harbor Crafts in Singapore

Three people were killed when two harbor workboats collided near Singapore’s Pasir Panjang Terminal on the morning of Friday, June 12, according to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

The MPA said a supply boat and a landing craft collided around 0930 local time, with the supply boat sinking near the terminal. Dive teams later recovered three bodies, men between the ages of 38 and 53, while authorities worked to confirm how many people had been aboard. The landing craft remained stable, with no injuries reported among those on it.

A full investigation is underway and search operations resumed the following morning. The terminal, operated by PSA and one of Singapore’s busiest, continued operations uninterrupted, though the MPA posted a safety warning for the area of the collision.
