The King County Sheriff’s Office Marine Division has commissioned Moose Boats to build a 46-foot diesel-electric hybrid patrol boat for law enforcement operations in Puget Sound. The vessel, based on the Moose Boats M1 model, features advanced hybrid propulsion systems, joystick-based maneuvering, and cutting-edge navigation technology. Funded by Washington State’s Climate Commitment Act, the patrol boat aims to reduce emissions while enhancing operational capabilities.
