The Port of Vancouver USA has broken ground on its new state-of-the-art Terminal 2, Berth 7 facility, designed to handle over 3 million tons of soda ash annually. Developed in partnership with Vancouver Bulk Terminal and Solvay, the facility will enhance North American soda ash export capacity, supporting industries from glass and battery manufacturing to healthcare and food. Operations are set to begin in late 2026, promising regional economic growth, job creation, and increased supply chain efficiency.
