MAN Energy Solutions will deliver the world’s most powerful two-stroke methanol engine in June 2025. Built by CSSC-MES Diesel Co., Ltd., the MAN B&W 12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM engine is rated at 82,440 kW and will power a series of 24,000 TEU container vessels for OOCL and COSCO Shipping Lines. Featuring advanced emissions technology and dual-fuel capabilities, this engine marks a significant step toward carbon-neutral shipping and demonstrates the maturity and reliability of MAN’s methanol-powered solutions.
