Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” Line) has taken delivery of Puteri Kelantan, a 174,000-cubic-metre LNG carrier and the third vessel of its type delivered for Petronas LNG in 2026, following two sister ships delivered in May and June. Built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in China and owned by a “K” Line-led joint venture, the roughly 299-meter vessel is powered by an X-DF dual-fuel engine with a service speed of 19.5 knots. A fourth sister vessel, Puteri Negeri Sembilan, is scheduled for delivery in November, strengthening Petronas LNG’s delivery fleet.
