SAFEEN Drydocks, the shipbuilding and repair arm of Noatum Maritime, has installed the UAE’s largest floating dock at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Port. The 230-metre dock has a 21,000-tonne lifting capacity and is paired with 1,000 metres of quayside, expanding the operator’s ability to service larger commercial vessels and offshore rigs. SAFEEN Drydocks, a joint venture between AD Ports Group and Premier Marine Engineering Services, operates over 170,000 square meters of shipyard facilities and recently acquired Spain’s Balenciaga Shipyard.
