NEW! The Scholarship is available to students of four-year
two-year degree programs. See below for details.

The Merchants Exchange Scholarship Fund is designed to help 4-year and 2-year degree students seeking careers in Maritime Affairs/International Trade courses in Maritime-related programs receive resources for their continued education. The scholarship is awarded to those who have demonstrated academic ability and possess qualities in personal character that exemplify their drive to obtain their education goals. Ultimately, it is our hope that by offering these scholarships, the recipients will utilize the opportunities to become more involved in the Maritime industry as they pursue their education and further their Maritime careers.

Scholarship Guidelines:

The number of awards and amount of funds distributed each year is determined by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarship award amounts may vary based on merit, scoring and funds available each year. Scholarship awards average from $500, up to $2,000, and can be used for tuition, fees, and books. The scholarship may be renewable upon reapplication of the recipient and approval of the Scholarship Committee.
