USCG-PPA-90 Limits of Liability Adjustment- Proposal:
The US Coast Guard proposes to increase the limits of liability for vessels and deepwater ports under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA 90) to account for inflation. The proposed increases average just less than 7% above current levels, but are not consistent. Comments on the proposal should be submitted by November 24. 73 Fed. The TWIC enrollment center for the the Port of Portland has been relocated to a new facility July 17, 2009. All scheduled appointments and walk-ins will be processed at the address of the new facility after the relocation date. The new location will be at 4110 NE 122 Ave, Suite, 125, Portland OR 97230-1360

The Twic Dashboard shows that, as of July 1, 2009 1,244,340 maritime workers have enrolled in for a TWIC and that 1,081,536 cards have been activated.
